ABOUT ICFM
The
International Conference on Fluid Mechanics (ICFM) is the premier forum for the
presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of
theoretical, experimental, and computational Fluid Mechanics. It provides a
forum for researchers to exchange original ideas and recent advances in their
respective research on Fluid Mechanics or relevant interdisciplinary subjects.
ICFM was initiated by Y. Shen (China), Y.C. Fung (USA), T.Y. Wu (USA), H. Sato
(Japan) and J. Zierep (Germany) in 1987. It was organized by the Chinese
Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and successfully held in Beijing
(1987, 1993, 1998), Dalian (2004), Shanghai (2007), Guangzhou (2011), and Qingdao
(2015).
