    The 4th International Workshop on Soft Machines and Mechanics (IWSMM2018) aims to provide a forum for emerging young researchers in the field of soft materials and soft machines to communicate academic frontier problems, establish a long-term cooperation, further promote development in this field and improve the academic influence. This workshop was hosted by State Key Laboratory for Strength and Vibration of Mechanical Structures, Xi’an Jiaotong University.
